If you’re anything like us, your Sunday nights just haven’t been the same since the tragic heroes and lovable villains of the White Lotus ended their tenure on the small screen. But the big news for fans & travellers — and really, the whole internet — is that White Lotus is officially back. After two seasons (set in Hawaiʻi and Sicily, respectively), season three will be filmed in Thailand.

And starting now — continuing well beyond the show’s airing in 2025 — we know that Mike White’s filming location of Thailand will soar in popularity for travellers who want to visit. (In 2023, we saw Sicily bookings skyrocket due to the exposure of the HBO show.) According to Bloomberg, HBO confirmed that the show will film in Bangkok, Phuket and Koh Samui. According to Bloomberg, sources confirm that the next White Lotus season will also be using the Anantara Mai Khao Villas Phuket as a filming location. This will be the show’s first non-Four Seasons property featured.
