This month’s openings bring a little bit of everything: rugged mountain retreats, Riviera glam, and tropical all inclusives made for dancing under the stars. Your summer travel mood board starts here.

Just in time for a sun-soaked Miami summer, Hyatt’s design-forward Andaz brand has made its Florida début, bringing plenty of personality to the beachfront. Set slightly north of the South Beach buzz, the 287-room hotel feels both off-the-beaten-path and perfectly plugged in, with mid-century modern interiors, palm-fringed pools, and three trendy dining spots from the José Andrés Group.
There’s an ocean-view check-in experience, a luxe spa, two heated outdoor pools, and hourly poolside refreshments. Rooms are full of character (think vintage bar carts, Art Deco chandeliers, and cheerful florals), with thoughtful touches like 400-thread-count Sferra linens and Frette robes. Relocated just steps away from the pool area is the hotel’s historic 1930s beach bungalow, which will début as an exclusive members’ club this summer.

The Brera district is where Milan’s creative energy comes into its own—and Casa Brera has been channeling it beautifully since its opening this spring. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, the hotel layers Rationalist architecture with bold color, texture, and unmistakably Italian design. The rooms and suites feel like elegant city apartments, finished with locally sourced materials, curated furniture, and striking artwork. Everything, from the Cassina and Poliform pieces to the theatre-inspired details and Lombard marble, celebrates Italian design at its best.
Up top, Etereo is the showstopper—a rooftop terrace with a sleek pool, skyline views, and a Mediterranean menu to match. Downstairs, Odachi serves refined Japanese and Living delivers classic Milanese aperitivos. The concierge can arrange everything from vintage Fiat 500 rentals to private gallery visits at Palazzo Citterio.

Opened in April 2025, the W’s first all-inclusive brings its signature edge to the palm-lined beaches of the Dominican Republic, delivering glossy style and a playful, party-ready spirit. Expect all the usual W hallmarks—the Living Room bar, a sleek FIT gym, the AWAY Spa, and a seriously vibey WET Deck—now with unlimited cocktails and no price-checking necessary.
Rooms and suites channel laid-back tropical glam, with floor-to-ceiling windows, neutral tones, and splashes of color, plus either a balcony, swim-up access, or a private plunge pool. W Punta Cana is going big with 13 restaurants and bars, including an Asian street-food spot, a rooftop raw bar, a vintage-style Italian cocktail lounge, and a moody speakeasy. By day, bounce between the beach, the Chill Pool, and the WET Deck’s infinity pool. At night, it’s DJs, dancing, and maybe a workshop or two—the resort’s daily calendar promises music, wellness, adventure, and food-focused happenings to keep the energy high and the connections flowing.

Known for its intimate, upscale stays with a strong sense of place, the Maison Albar collection brings its signature French polish to the Riviera with its latest opening last December, Le Victoria. Perfectly placed between the Promenade des Anglais and Place Masséna, Le Victoria is a chic homage to the Côte d’Azur, with soft Art Deco curves, breezy sea-view terraces, and a rooftop pool made for aperitivo hour.
Interiors balance Parisian elegance with Riviera ease, while a serene spa and a curated mix of high-end boutiques add a layer of luxury. Named after the youngest generation of the Albar family, Le Victoria carries the family’s century-old hospitality legacy with warmth, character, and joie de vivre.

The Strand Turks & Caicos opened in November and is a fresh luxe escape tucked away on the south coast’s Cooper Jack Bay—far from the bustle of Grace Bay. Every suite and villa is oceanfront, ranging from sleek one-bedroom suites to multi-bedroom beach houses, most of which feature private plunge pools, rooftop terraces, or outdoor kitchens. Interiors are designed for indoor-outdoor living, with full kitchens, shaded terraces, and sweeping views of that iconic electric-blue water.
Days here are for tennis, paddleboarding, or cruising on the resort’s Boston Whaler; nights might find you barefoot dancing on the beach or enjoying fresh seafood under the stars at DelMar restaurant, often with live music. Powered by over 75% solar energy and part of a dedicated pollinator habitat project, The Strand is an eco-friendly haven. A spa and kids’ club are on the way, rounding out this private beach getaway just 15 minutes from the island’s main spots.

A legendary 1872 Art Nouveau landmark on Wenceslas Square, W Prague opened in November with all the swagger you’d expect from the brand—plus a rich backstory. Formerly the Grand Hotel Europa, it hosted Kafka (who gave a reading here in 1912) and British humanitarian Nicholas Winton (now honored with a plaque in the restaurant). W has restored the ornate stucco, 1920s murals, and dramatic atrium, and added a sleek nine-story wing with 122 rooms, a rooftop bar, W Lounge, and AWAY Spa.
Inside, golden hues, velvet greens, and surreal shapes mix Wes Anderson glamour with a futuristic edge. W Lounge buzzes with DJs, cocktails get theatrical in the subterranean Minus One lounges, and breakfast at Le Petit Beefbar (in the former Grand Café Evropa) is a highlight. Rooms are big and bold, with mirror headboards and velvet accents; “Marvellous” suites layer heritage charm with greens, golds, and arched windows.

One of this year’s most anticipated openings, One&Only Moonlight Basin is now taking reservations ahead of its November début. It’s the brand’s first US outpost—and its first-ever alpine resort. Set on 240 acres in Big Sky, Montana and surrounded by 3 million acres of national forest, it’s a year-round escape for thrill seekers, nature lovers, and anyone craving fresh mountain air with luxury.
Come winter, expect snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, fat-tire biking, and plenty of cozy après options. In warmer months, it’s all about fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, golf, and lazy days by the resort’s private alpine lake. The 73 rooms and 19 stand-alone cabins are enormous (up to 3,400 square feet) and designed for peak comfort, with fireplaces, oak-paneled walls, soaking tubs, and balconies that frame the mountain views. Kids can join in on the adventure too, thanks to a nature-focused club inspired by Montana’s great outdoors.
OKU Hotels is doubling down on barefoot luxury and slow living this summer with two sleek new openings: a family-friendly retreat in Andalusia and an adults-only escape in Bodrum.
Set between Sotogrande and the Los Alcornocales nature reserve, OKU Andalusia is the brand’s first family-friendly outpost, complete with a sprawling spa, tennis and padel courts, and a beautifully curated kids’ club rooted in nature and Spanish finca life. Expect splash zones, farm-style playgrounds, and plenty of space for barefoot exploration. The design is all earthy tones and natural textures, with open spaces that blur the line between indoors and out.
Across the Aegean, OKU Bodrum opens as a serene, adults-only hideaway on the northern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula. With just 58 rooms and suites—many with sea-facing terraces and private pools—it’s built for intimate escapes. Expect elevated, ingredient-led dining across three venues, a clifftop yoga shala, outdoor spa cabanas, and a hammam. A private jetty and secluded bay seal the deal.
