Following our recent FAM trip to Central Europe, we’re already dreaming of when we can return to Vienna, Austria’s magical capital city. (And considering that we visited around Christmas, when the holiday markets were in full swing, it was especially magical.) FAM trips are really research trips — they allow our club curators to visit a destination, and its top hotels, so that they can better plan trips for clients and matchmake travellers to the perfect hotel.
Stroll along the Danube, marvel at the Gothic architecture of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, wander in the lush Belvedere gardens, peruse the chic local boutiques of the Neubau neighbourhood, walk the Ringstrasse — a boulevard that surrounds Vienna’s historic inner city — enjoy a night at the opera house…we could go on. But an excellent trip requires an excellent place to stay, of course, and Vienna has some serious hotel game. From fun boutique stays to five-star hotels, these are the best hotels in Vienna, all of which have the WeGalavant stamp of approval.
