Once the city’s Palace of Justice, Rosewood Amsterdam is rewriting history on the banks of the Prinsengracht with the brand’s much-anticipated Dutch début on June 1. Set within the UNESCO-listed Canal District, this reimagined landmark combines storied grandeur with contemporary Dutch craftsmanship, embracing the Dutch concept of gezelligheid — a welcoming, cozy atmosphere with an elevated edge. Original courtrooms and cellblocks have been artfully restored and the rooms offer postcard-perfect views of canals, courtyards and townhouse rooftops. Take a tour in the hotel’s private Salon Boat to soak in the city’s beauty from the water.
The Chancery Rosewood, opening August 1 and now taking bookings, will bring a touch of 1960s Mad Men cool to Mayfair, one of London’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Set in the former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, this historic landmark has been reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield with floor-to-ceiling glass and airy light-filled spaces. There will be an impressive variety of dining, entertainment and retail spaces, including a grand ballroom and a Yabu Pushelberg-designed wellbeing facility.

Built into the cliffside above Playa Penca, the new Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica is a dream getaway for adventure-loving families. It’s a gateway to Guanacaste’s natural wonders, with world-class surf, wildlife tours, national parks, volcanoes and waterfalls — not to mention an ecosystem teeming with monkeys, coatis and humpback whales. At its heart is a stunning multi-level tiered pool that cascades down toward a secluded beach, where calm waters are ideal for swimming, paddleboarding and boating year round. After a day of exploring, unwind at the hydro-thermal spa with treehouse-style treatment rooms, or dive into Afro-Caribbean flavors at the signature restaurant, La Finca.

Sweeping across a dramatic one-kilometer stretch above Port de Sóller, Jumeirah Mallorca is all about the views — the deep aquamarine sea on one side, the rugged Tramuntana Mountains on the other. Every corner of the resort is framed by natural beauty. Interiors are understated yet elegant, with spacious rooms featuring marble bathrooms and citrus-infused Natura Bissé amenities. New this season: the exclusive ‘Tramuntana Mist’ scent by local perfumer Viti Vinci, found in-room and throughout the hotel. As a guest, you’re automatically invited to a behind-the-scenes atelier visit in Palma.

Corinthia Hotels brings a touch of Belle Époque grandeur to Romania’s capital with the recent opening of Grand Hotel du Boulevard. Set at the historic crossroads of Calea Victoriei and Elisabeta Boulevard, the hotel was originally inaugurated in 1873 as the city’s first hotel with electric lights and an elevator. This reimagined landmark has been transformed into an all-suite retreat with just 30 exquisitely designed accommodations. Dining is a grand affair, from Boulevard 73 in the historic chandelier-filled ballroom to the Mediterranean-inspired SASS’ Restaurant & Lounge and chic Heritage Bar.

Auberge Resorts Collection is known for pushing the boundaries of wellness, and this April, Etéreo, in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, brings something special: a residency with Hollywood’s go-to facialist, Adeela Crown. Dubbed “The Skin Engineer,” Adeela has prepped A-listers for the Oscars, Met Gala and beyond. From April 7–21, guests can experience her transformative facials and masterclasses at SANA, the resort’s spa that offers Mayan-inspired rituals, a cenote-inspired pool and obsidian-stone massages. Set above Riviera Maya’s mangroves, Etéreo is a sanctuary with ocean-facing suites, private terraces and thoughtful, local details like woven lampshades, handmade rugs and smooth tzalam wood. After a day of pampering, indulge in fresh ceviche at El Changarro or sip mezcal at Itzam.

Inspired by Netflix’s Sirens & Curated by WeGalavant There’s something irresistible about Sirens—Netflix’s haunting, coastal drama that blends mystery, myth, and seaside opulence. It’s dark academia meets summer estate, all filmed in a setting so dreamlike you can practically taste the salt air. Here’s the best part: You don’t need to binge-watch from your couch […]
Tuscany is all about slow travel, with rolling countryside, hilltop towns, and long lunches. In Siena, Montepulciano, and Montalcino, you’ll find medieval streets, world-class wine, and a pace that encourages wandering. Neighbouring Umbria shares the same scenic charm but feels a bit more under-the-radar, with towns like Assisi and Spello offering fewer crowds and plenty […]
